Hotel Guest Reviews of the Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was excellent - was in town for a conference and could see the door I'd need to enter from the hotel.
Rooms & building looked run-down (disappointing considering the prime location). Also, was charged a parking fee upon check-out because my conference wouldn't end by check-out time - would've been okay with me if there hadn't been so many open spaces.

Very convenient to the Convention Center but a bit run down. Staff (when I checked in) were very helpful and showed me exactly where I'd need to go to get to my conference. Room was worn, bed had a definite dip on one side (but the other side was fine). Staff (when I checked out) told me I'd need to pay a $5 parking fee to leave my vehicle in the lot until my conference ended later that afternoon -- they said the reason was that they rent some of the spaces to local businesses. It would have been fine with me except there were few spaces actually occupied in the entire lot -- felt more like a nickle-&-dime attempt to make a bit of money :( ...read more

The location was perfect. Stayed to go to the Blazer game and it was close enough to walk. We also liked that there was a Red Robin restaurant right across the street so we didn't have to drive anywhere.
It had a musty smell in it and my clothes ended up smelling like it. Had to wash everything when we got home no matter what to get rid of it.

I would stay there again if we were going to another game. If you have children with you the pool it one of the better ones I have seen at a smaller hotel. Kids would enjoy it. Did notice that there seemed to be a security guard walking the parking lot at night- made me feel better about the safety of our car. Try not to pay attention to the road noise or the people who were yelling at each other outside on the street. At least the windows kept most of the road noise out. ...read more

Decent breakfast. Nice beds.
Staff not very accommodating. No vending machines with snacks...only drinks. Poor directions to area retailers. Stinky, mold smelling halls.

Probably wont return unless nothing else is available!

I really liked all the amenities in the room, the breakfast was very good, and the staff was super polite and helpful. Free parking and wi-fi is also a huge plus.
Sadly, 98% of the time the key card for the room/doors/elevator (same key) often took three or more swipes to work.

I am traveling with my dog and it is hard to find cheap/nice hotels in good locations that allow them, but this one worked for me. While the outside is a little run down, inside the rooms are nice. I really liked all the rooms amenities, the breakfast is free/good, and the staff was polite/helpful. They also have free parking and wi-fi, which made my stay perfect.

It is located between i5 & i84. The breakfast is awesome.
The heater in the room did not work so it stayed in the 50's and we were freezing. The man who works in the breakfast room is extremely rude. He hates kids.

I would not recommend this hotel. There are many hotels in the same area. Awful service from breakfast room man and no heater.

The hotel has a good location near the Convention Center.
The breakfast room - like a prison cell and completely busy, but the guy running the kitchen was really too grumpy. C'mon, cheer up!

Well.... you get what you pay for. Which, honestly, is ok - the hotel is cheap. Parking is free, breakfast included, fast Wifi throughout all the hotel, a small pool and a workout room, all fair. What I didn't like was the breakfast. Great that it's included, but man... staff was completely stressed out and couldn't handle the kids that were goofing around. The guy running the kitchen was literally cursing under his breath. Front-desk was ok though. All in all, an average experience. But with that price - oh well. You get what you pay for. :) ...read more

breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff was nice.
room doesn't look or smell clean. bed was too soft, the middle part of the bed was actually dented. it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep. Also coffee maker had leftover coffee in it.

two good things about this hotel, location is very close to shopping and breakfast was good. many bad things about staying there. 1st of all, the expect the hotel to be very old and poorly maintained. beds are old, towels are overly washed (very tough on your skins!!), coffee maker had dark stains, carpets are old and dirty also smells bad. 2nd of all, hotel staff wasn't very friendly. they weren't rude, but they were very "cool", not warm and welcome. except the staff in breakfast room though. for the price we paid, we could have reserved a much better hotel only a little further from shopping, which is not a problem at all if you have a car. so we will not be coming back here next time. ...read more

It was an awful place, the heating didn't work in the room. We booked for 2 nights and had to leave after the first night (we have a newborn baby who was really uncomfortably cold). The internet didnt work and breakfast was nasty. We didn't get a refund for the second night from Priceline. Never booking from Priceline again!
