Hotel Guest Reviews of the La Quinta Inn & Suites Hammond

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The breakfast buffet was bare bones minimum. Need to improve choices or do away with it.

Good location,clean, nice staff
think they should have lotioon, conditioner, and shampoo in bathroom

My son, daughter in law, and I only stayed one night and were impressed with the cleanliness, location, and staff. The airconditioner did not work well but eventually cooled the room. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL.

Affordable and homey. Nice property
Rooms smell like pets.

Staff is welcoming, accommodating, rooms are clean, (cleaning staff takes pride in their work). It's not the Hilton but affordable and homey. They could update the sheets and pillows.

Live cockroach found the morning of check-out

Although certainly clean and functional, I probably would not stay at this chain again. Everything was just a little below par - sheets, towels, small rooms. There was one live cockroach the morning of my check-out (thankfully) but it is the rural south and it was unseasonably cold for the region so that may have been a reason. The room appeared clean and the staff was always cleaning the public areas. ...read more

Breakfast

Good, moderately priced hotel. Have stayed at this particular location 3 times and have had no problems. The staff is friendly and courteous. They even helped me find a nice place for dinner locally that had great food!

Nothing. I did not stay.
It was a dump. Smelled like cigarette and I did not stay there.

Daniel at the front desk was an amazing employee. He was friendly, attentive and worked quickly to help us out.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and our room was super clean and comfortable.
Our room was right across from the elevator, so the pinging was annoying at times, but not enough to ask for a new room.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and our room was super clean and comfortable. The field behind the hotel next to the pool was gorgeous and full of cows and horses. The hotel is on the outskirts of town, so a car is needed for easy access to the center of town.

Very clean and friendly.
Walls are super thin.

Everything is nice except the walls are very thin and you can hear the next room conversation as if they were in the room with you.
