Hotel Guest Reviews of the La Quinta Inn & Suites Lafayette

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel overall was good however the mattress quality was poor. It sagged. :(

not much other than being cheap
they charged us a retainer fee for $250 to cover incidental purposes. That was not even on my receipt from making my reservation for the hotel rooms, so we should not have had to pay it, we where lucky we had the extra money with us. 260-495-2095for more

I HAD A VERY UNPLEASANT STAY AT THE LA QUINTA INN AND WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. HAD UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF, BREAKFAST WAS TERRIBLE, MADE US PAY A RETAINER FEE THAT WE DIDN'T FIND OUT UNTIL WE GOT THERE.

Quiet
We loved it for the most part. The room above was kind of loud at times sounded like they were moving stuff even at 3 in the morning. The hottub/spa wasnt very warm. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Great location. Mini golf across the street. Shopping is close.

Pillowtop mattress was VERY comfortable and hotel provided many pillows. The room was very clean, smelled fresh, and was quiet. The pool area looked very nice and clean.
The fan in the bathroom was noisy, the shampoo provided was pretty generic, and free breakfast was so-so...but it was FREE and hot and the staff restocked the breakfast bar continuously!

For the reasonable price we paid we were very satisfied!

The room had been remodeled and was nice and clean. Thankfully, they had something like a duvet cover, not a bedspread. However, it was actually two sheets covering the comforter, which tended to come off during sleep - which isn't really sanitary.
The breakfast left a lot to be desired. I couldn't believe they only had powdered creamer, no actual liquid or half and half type creamer. Yuk. The bananas were so dark green it would have been impossible to eat one. We chose to skip it and pay to eat.

For the price, the hotel was quite nice. It was near the expressway, but fairly quiet in the room. For a good basic stay in Lafayette it was fine. We didn't bring our dog this time, but it's nice that it is pet friendly.

The hotel is alright for what I paid for. It is situated right along I-65 so if you open the window, it will be very noisy. Overall, it is decent hotel for a short stay.

The pool and jacuzzi. The food was great. The bed was comfortable.
A little further from Purdue University than I thought.

I would stay there aagin for sure.

Location was good, near restaurants and Purdue
Wasn't as clean as I like.

Was placed in a King room when I had requested a double and had called the day before to confirm the reservation. Was then placed in a double and it smelled like a dirty ash tray. Finally I was place in a double on the 3rd floor. Rooms were a bit threadbare but the beds were comfortable. Location was excellent, only 20 minutes from Purdue and close to highway, dining and shopping. Pool looked nice and clean ...read more

Location
Food was too basic. Front desk staff acted as though she was doing me a favor.

Rooms on the side of the highway were not adequately soundproofed. We switched to a room on other side of hotel. We had paid for an upgraded room. Since an upgraded room was not available on the other side of hotel, we had to forego that additional money we had paid for the upgrade.
