La Quinta Inn & Suites Portland Airport

Parking was difficult. Too compact to begin with. Staff greeted us nicely and were very helpful when we arrived and upon leaving the next day. Our room was horrible. Nothing appealing about it at all. It was very small. Wall-to-wall furniture. The bed was hard, the colors and furniture were terribly outdated. Nothing comfortable about this room, at all. This hotel is terrible do not stay here.

I would return to this hotel when possible. Having a breakfast included in the price is big feature for me.

La Quinta Portland overall was a great place to stay. The room was incredibly spacious, we were able to store fresh food in the refrigeration and non perishables in the storage area to bring down the price of dining out. The pool was great and the kids loved it. The continental breakfast is indescribable, it is absolutely second to none. Although the hotel accommodates pets, we were not bothered by a lot of noise or animals smells. The staff is very friendly and inviting. The only real issue we had was that there were four of us in the room and nearly everyday, when the bathroom linens were changed, there would only be enough for two people. We would call repeatedly and be assured and reassured that more linen was on the way, but often we had to go get it ourselves. That ruined the experience for us some. We were there for a week, and they should have known there were four of us in the room. Also, there is an ice maker on every other floor, and it's a long trip away depending on your room. It's on the opposite end of the floor from the elevator so you either take the stairs for the shorter trip, or take the elevator for twice the trip. I was seven months pregnant at the time so that was also a big inconvenience. However, overall, it was a great time.

Very attractive, convenient parking. Clean, comfortable room, nicely decorated. Friendly staff, good service. Could use another chair so we could sit together for eating or playing cards.

La Quinta is a great find! A great price and a great value. Close to the airport, but very quiet. Airport Shuttle service with a friendly and careful, caring driver. A very nice room, with a comfortable bed and clean surroundings(good shower!) And the complimentary breakfast buffet that was much more than continental -- the make-your-own Waffles were excellent! And they even had sausage patties w/ biscuits and gravy! Breakfast nook was very clean and pleasant. Every time I stay at a La Quinta property, I always find myself wishing I could stay there longer.
