The location was considered "Northwest" Portland, but it was about as far on the outskirts of "Northwest" as you can get. Definately not in the bustling northwest hub.

The room was very nice and clean. Nice pool area with hot tub and plenty towels. Good breakfast and great stuff.
The location is rather on the industrial side and a bit noisy.
Not far away is the forrest park which is a nice place to go for a walk and relax.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The thermometer in AC and heating unit was a little off but worked.
The hotel is located in the middle of industrial area. There is no place or businesses within walking distance.

My room is clean, bed is comfortable!
The location is sketchy, and there is a grumpy front desk person that is there at night. Because I am a female traveling alone it does not make me feel comfortable when I come in from a busy day to someone who is grumpy... I have stayed here repeatedly!
For the cost it is an excellent hotel. Not far from downtown but close enough! It is in a sketch part of town. During the day the staff are friendly and nice, but in the evening there is a grumpy guy who watches the front desk.... Does a smile hurt?

Clean room and convenient to what I needed for this trip
The remote control didnt work so I needed to turn on tv , switch channels, adjust volume, and shut off tv manually. Front desk said they had recently switched to direct tv and had not updated all remotes yet. Kind of annoying after a long travel day.

Super friendly staff, great pool (although a bit cold), and a decent exercise room.
Location is strange but at least the parking is free so it was no big deal to drive into downtown Portland in just 5 min.

you can tell they are updating the rooms and for the most part they are very nice
the updating is only partially done. in my room, the bathroom had mold in the grout and the light in the ceiling was missing parts
we got 3 rooms and one of our party did have $ stolen out of their suitcase. This money was buried and clearly "things" were not put back together the way the originally were so you can tell something "happened". We left our rooms early but we arrived back to our rooms shortly after the cleaning service had been through (like around 11am) Of course no one admitted it and we did fill out the proper paperwork. ...
