The La Quinta was a great place to stay. Pet friendly which is a must whenever I travel. Gorgeous lobby and rooms with nice staff to top it off. The location was great too. We were able to walk to the Tacoma Dome from the hotel to enjoy our concert.

I liked the breakfast at the Redlion better. It was not uplifting to find that the front door was locked and I had to use a room key to card in, even though the front desk was manned 24/7. It gave me a very unsafe feeling. I will probably try staying at the Redlion up the freeway next time.
