The staff was friendly, the room was clean and cool. The bed was very comfortable. But we asked for a non-smoking room and they put us in a smoking room. We were unhappy with that, so we wouldn't stay again if we went back to Texarkana because of the smoke smelly room. The hotel needs remodeling and updates, but not bad.

If you are traveling with a pet this hotel is perfect, the beds are comfortable, the sheets smell fresh and there are grassy areas for your animal to go in the staff is always exceptional and helpful.

This hotel did not live up to my expectations for the 2-star hotel that I'd requested. The room smelled mildewy, the coffee set-up was incomplete and the shower drain was slower than the water flowing out.
