Hotel Guest Reviews of the Lakeway Resort And Spa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The evening happy hour has a great view of the lake and people were friendly. The pools were beautiful and great for both adults and children.
I would have liked to have breakfast included.

This is a great romantic place. If you love water sports and golf, this hotel has it available. The hotel has a rustic Texas elegance in the common area and very modern in the other places. The on site restaurant has an eclectic menu.

The view.
The restaurant was of much less quality than expected.

The Hotel Staff makes this a pleasant stay. While Lake Travis is a bit of a disappointment because of its low water line the view from the Hotel rooms is still a memory maker. The pool area is great for family or couples on a romantic outing. A good retreat.

Beds were very comfortable. Great view
The restaurant wasn't great. We had a dinner room service and breakfast. Really bad food. Very disappointing.

The valet & front desk; room service personnel below average; 3 trips to the room to deliver breakfast, pot of coffee was more like warm tea; the front desk person took care of all issues to our satisfaction with a credit; The beds are incredible.
The air conditioner in our room short cycled all 3 nights; we were out late each night & did not report it until we checked out, for the next guest. There is a motor outside that never shuts off - was not able to enjoy the patio at all.

The hotel is beautiful; however there is a motor outside on the lake side that does not shut off, so the patio is not the peaceful, quiet escape we were anticipating. Would recommend being placed on the upper floors - 3rd or 4th floor - we were on 1st floor - right by the motor. It may not be as noisy a few levels above ground. You enter on the 4th floor (versus 1st fl). The staff was very friendly & professional (outside of room service). The hotel is clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable - that would bring us back to stay in the future. ...read more

Requested a different room than the one we were given to get a better view. The second room had a great view and was quite nice
They tacked on a $20/night non-refundable "Resort Fee"

Nothing is really "included" so if you're looking for an inexpensive getaway at a nice hotel, I'd suggest packing some food/drinks. Once you're at the hotel, it feels remote enough to where you won't really want to leave.

They charged us a $20 resort fee to use their pool and other facilities. That's silly. Just build it into the cost upfront. We got there late and left early so we didn't even leave the room once we got there. Also, they don't include breakfast either.
