Hotel Guest Reviews of the L'auberge D'aspen
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.December 13, 2011

I was really amazed by the look of the cabin it was really nice looking. The fire place was not electric and we could not start it. The TV volume did not work at all, so we weren't able to watch TV. They need to improve the heating system. It was absolutely cold at night and felt like the heater was not working at all.

This was a fun place to stay. When I got to my room/cabin, the heat was broken so I called the manager (who was off-site). He promptly came to move me to another cabin. This cabin was heated by a gas fireplace and was still a little chilly due to the size and construction of the cabin. However, it was a fun place to stay and I would probably stay their again in the spring or fall. ...

Very laid back and relatively unavailable staff. Some arrivals had their keys in envelopes taped to the lobby door with a greeting note. The lobby is not staffed except during check ins, apparently, and not in the mornings or evenings. I saw no pool but wasn't interested. This is a 50's "motor hotel" and the lobby is just a counter and a place to check in one to 2 people at a time. The individual cottages are nice, but depending on which unit you have, you may have a neighbors' car parked right beside your bed so be ready to get up when the first car leaves in the morning. Staff was very friendly and informative. If access to staff, concierge and a spacious lobby is in your needs, on your schedule, then its not for you.

The individual cabins were fun, the size was very large, and the kitchenette was large enough for several days stay. It was a short walk to several eating places on the main road. It was a little noisy during the day, but quiet down at night.

I took my wife to aspen for our anniversary. I could not ask for a more romantic dwelling. It was beautiful and affordable.

I really liked this cabin. We went to Aspen to hike Cathedral Lake and had always wanted to stay in a cabin and this fit the bill.

My wife and I wanted to get out of town and head up to Aspen for the weekend. I would recommend any couple (small rooms) who's looking for a quick and romantic weekend getaway that they stay here!
