Hotel Guest Reviews of the Westin Sacramento
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 29, 2013

Even though there were a few children here. I would say it is an adult only environment!

The reviews don't lie and this hotel does not disappoint. It's a charming place with a beautiful entrance/grand room. The rooms are comfortable with high-vaulted ceilings (I stayed on the 3rd/top floor). The hotel actually changed over to a Westin property the evening that I stayed their. The staff seemed quite excited and were very accomodating and helpful. I would definitely stay there again! ...

Very quiet location. If you don' t want to stay downtown. This is the place! Right off I-5. Want to score points with your wife? This IS the place.

The hotel has a beautiful facade when driving up to it. It's location is right off of I-5, so it was really easy to get to. The entry is a little confusing, and we had to double back to find the registration car park. The staff were extremely friendly. Our room was really beautiful, and high-end materials were prevalent. We had a river view, which was beautiful! I wish a wedding had been taking place, as we could have watched it right below our room. We booked (on very short notice) massages at the day spa at the hotel. It was a true spa experience, and our massages were fantastic. That night, we ate at Scott's Seafood Restaurant, which is right at the hotel. It was really busy, but the service was excellent, and the food even better. I'm really picky about seafood, and this was the best I've had in I can't remember how long (had the jerked swordfish and coconut prawns-delicious!). It appeared that during the nice weather, you could eat outside. We were only there for one night, and I wish it had been much longer. I noticed a sign for bicycle rentals, so I'd love to go back in the summer and ride along the river. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel! ...

We had an exceptional stay at Le Rivage. It was our first visit and we were extremely pleased with our stay. The service was outstanding. The hotel decor is beautiful and you feel as if you are in Tuscany. The river views were great. I would recommend paying the slight extra charge for a river view room. Ours was on the 3rd floor and it was breathtaking. The rooms were very nice and clean. The best part was the clawfoot bathtub in the bathroom. We found the rooms to be very quiet and we could not hear any noise from the hall. After check-in, we spent time in the lounge/bar area and enjoyed drinks by the fireplace. We later had a fabulous dinner at Scotts restaurant downstairs and once again had great service. The following morning my husband had a massage for his birthday at Spa LaLe downstairs and said it was great.
Overall we enjoyed every minute and can't wait to return. I will be writing a letter to the management at Le Rivage to thank them for our wonderful stay.
A side note - about 15 minutes down the river, is a place called the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg where they have 7 wineries that do tastings. It was a short drive from Le Rivage and worth the trip if you enjoy tasting wine. ...
