Hotel Guest Reviews of the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location of the hotel, right in the mountains, was fantastic. We laid by the pool and looked right up at them!
There were a lot of flies in the pool, which was a little gross.

There is no refrigerator in the room, it's just a drink cooler and you can't adjust the temperature, so if you're bringing your own food or going out to eat and bringing back left overs, bring a cooler.

We are from Tucson and this is one of our favorite adult staycation locations. The views are fantastic, the pool is relaxing, Sunday Brunch with unlimited mimosas, and the pool will spoil you to this location. Wasn't charged the $25 resort fee...bonus!!

The rooms are great with awesome patios with great desert and mountain views. Pool is awesome. Sunday Brunch is pricey but worth it with Prime Rib, omelette prep, oysters, shrimp, awesome deserts, unlimited craft draft beer, and unlimited mimosas. Buy a bottle of 1800 and Margarita mix at the Bashas up the street. I don't think the bartender is from Tucson

Very large, plush room with a private balcony. Room had a separate sitting area. Many amenities and special touches. Beautiful facility and grounds that are well maintained.
No complimentary wireless internet in room (only in lobby) Parking fee $9/day $10 daily fee to use the fitness center 30 minutes to downtown Tucson

Resort is located in the Catalina Foothills and has maintained most of the natural, desert landscape. Paths lead through the property to a waterfall, swimming pool and other areas. Golf, fitness center, spa, swimming pool and upscale dining are some of the many amenities. The staff are very helpful and attentive. Valet or self-parking is available. When our air conditioner was not operating properly, an engineer arrived promptly to repair it. ...read more

The oversize bathtub was a surprise and delight. The staff was quite friendly as well. The views overlooking the golf course were a pleasure to wake up to.
The a la carte options for the room would have been fine if I could have at least known a price scale.

great and peaceful place to get away. I enjoyed the scenery tremendously. I was not able to stay long enough to take advantage of the full spa, unfortunately, but would return again.

I had a nice view from my room
The room was average size -- more like a standard hotel room than a resort. No free wi-fi. This property is in need of a refresh -- peeling paint, a hole in the wall plugged up with a small, pegged board painted to match the wall paint.

Tucson has some excellent resort properties, but this one is in need of some updates. The decor feels outdated, the rooms average by today's standards. Missing the sense of luxury you expect from the resort experience.

The hotel was in a beautiful location and all the staff were very friendly and helpfull. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay here
Everything was just perfect.

The only thing I would suggest is to make sure to book early in the restraunt to avoid waiting.

When we arrived our original room overlooked the parking lot. We asked the front desk for another room overlooking the pool, mountain or desert. They did this at no additional charge. Also the in room Internet was at no charge. Wonderful updates.

Excellent hotel with terrific location. Be sure to use the spa and golf.
