Hotel Guest Reviews of the London Marriott Hotel County Hall

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location
We were very far from the lift. literaly a 2 1/2 minute walk. which was a bit much

Loved the room it self and it is tough to beat the location in London. The staff was excellent and the afternoon tea is a must! The only real downside was our room was situated very far from the lift. So much so that it took 2.5 minutes to walk to the lift (yes we timed it) The internet was expensive but we lucked out as we were able to grab a signal from the neighboring hotel which happend to be free! I would recommend the hotel. ...read more

Fantastic location. Huge fluffy towels. five star toilet paper (the best we have seen in any hotel, anywhere).
Service was erratic, ranging from outstanding to indifferent. Incidentals and extras such as internet were exorbitantly priced.

The staff were all very friendly and kind, my room was cleaned very well. The location is unbeatable and the bed was very comfortable.
There is only 1 elevator and no way to take the stairs. Only being on the second floor I would have used stairs to get to my room faster. I was looking at the side of the London Eye but that meant a very long walk down 3 hallways to get there.

This is a first class hotel. The bar/restaurant have grand views of Big Ben and The House of Parliament as do many of the rooms. If you are a swimmer the 25 meter pool is tough to beat.
The location can be a bit of a challenge as you are not in a neighborhood and restaurants are a taxi or bus ride away. You also have tons of tourist right out the front door.

I would definatly stay here again. The hotel and the staff are top notch. And the bus system in London is first rate with a stop right out the front door. You are just a few minutes ride to Trafalgar Square by bus or just a 15 minute walk.

Great view and comfortable bed!
The walk from the elevator to the room was really long. Also, there were no good restaurants in walking distance.

Great centrally located place to stay!

Room is spacious, has beautiful decor and a great view. Best thing is location. It is close to all main attractions and public transportations.
No free internet.

The hotel is in a good district. Beautiful spacious room, but the bathroom is old and needs fixing up. Great staff. Lots of restaurants nearby. London Eye and Big Ben are just minutes away.

Given what we paid, the room was outstanding and the hotel, perfect. I wouldn't choose it at full prize given its overtouristy location and lack of personality. The room was enormous, well appointed and the beds very comfortable.
The heating was excessive and was finally fixed on our fourth day there.

The hotel is in a totally touristy place, by the London Eye, with throngs of visitors constantly around. What it lacks in real London experience, it makes up with its very central location, which allows you to walk to lots of places. The building is stately, the rooms enormous and well furnished but impersonal; the overall vibe is not 5 stars, not anymore at least. The price is one of its strongest arguments, if you get a big discount as we did. ...read more

Everything was great-location was amazing.
You need free Wi-Fi in the rooms. it is unacceptable not to have it. Also, either open the fire doors so people can use the stairs or add lifts in multiple places. It is too far to get to the one operating lift area from some rooms.

the location is great , the rooms are big and the staff was helpfull
At the first night , owing to overbooking , we were sent to a hotel nearby - we were in a holiday mood so this didn't spoil it all for us but it could ...

The most important point is the location and the good value for mony because of priceline. No way we would have paid the full price . there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby but those in the hotel are overpriced. other then that it is a great place to stay for tourists.
