Hotel Guest Reviews of the London Marriott Hotel County Hall

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Absolutely lovely for the price we paid. There was an evacuation on the last day of our stay and the staff was very organized and apologetic.
Charging £15 for wifi is insane... Free wifi is only available within a tiny area at the front desk.

We paid
XXX a night US which was a steal. However, we wanted to stay additional nights and they wanted to charge us
XXX a night which was completely over the top for the quality and accomodations.

Location
We were very far from the lift. literaly a 2 1/2 minute walk. which was a bit much

Loved the room it self and it is tough to beat the location in London. The staff was excellent and the afternoon tea is a must! The only real downside was our room was situated very far from the lift. So much so that it took 2.5 minutes to walk to the lift (yes we timed it) The internet was expensive but we lucked out as we were able to grab a signal from the neighboring hotel which happend to be free! I would recommend the hotel. ...read more

Fantastic location. Huge fluffy towels. five star toilet paper (the best we have seen in any hotel, anywhere).
Service was erratic, ranging from outstanding to indifferent. Incidentals and extras such as internet were exorbitantly priced.

This is a first class hotel. The bar/restaurant have grand views of Big Ben and The House of Parliament as do many of the rooms. If you are a swimmer the 25 meter pool is tough to beat.
The location can be a bit of a challenge as you are not in a neighborhood and restaurants are a taxi or bus ride away. You also have tons of tourist right out the front door.

I would definatly stay here again. The hotel and the staff are top notch. And the bus system in London is first rate with a stop right out the front door. You are just a few minutes ride to Trafalgar Square by bus or just a 15 minute walk.

Everything was great-location was amazing.
You need free Wi-Fi in the rooms. it is unacceptable not to have it. Also, either open the fire doors so people can use the stairs or add lifts in multiple places. It is too far to get to the one operating lift area from some rooms.

This hotel has fantastic location. This is formal county hall right where London Eye is.
This is good 4 stars hotel. This is definitely not 5 stars, even if the web site say so.

This is dissent 4 stars hotel in the center of London. If you expect 5 stars, this is not the case. The location is very good. There are few Restorations around and 2 underground stations on 5 minutes walk distance.

Great location and quiet room.
No

Great location. The hotel restaurant is quite expensive but it does have a great view. We very much appreciated the welcome suite (for tired travellers to wait in on the first day before your room is ready).

The only good thing about the hotel is the location.
Where to start, the room was ice cold and had to ask them to send two separate heaters...the staff were cocky and bad mannered..nothing like a 5 star hotel

The only real thing great about this hotel is the location near the South Bank and the London Eye. Ok, the gym is great too, but that is it. The room is cold and the staff are horrible, cocky and not attentive. Would not recommend it as a top hotel at all!

good gym & good location
Cold rooms (we had to move many times due to cold rooms..), loooooooooong corridor from the lift to the room and cocky staff.

not satisfied for a 5 star hotel.
