The staff and environment exceeded my expectations. Our room was very clean and the balcony overlooked a beautiful courtyard and the pool. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

I recommend a balcony room. The restaurants in the hotel were very good. Visited two museum campuses, science center and LAMCA, both were very nice. Made a trip to downtown LA. It felt dirty and run down. All locations mentioned were roughly 40 minutes from the hotel. Also enjoyed a few road trips to Topanga and Santa Monica.

The room looked nice. The hotels hosts 3 restaurants plus a Starbucks. This is convenient. The pool looks pretty.
There was a roach on the night stand the next morning. The management staff is horrible, they offered me free parking but in my opinion they should have done more. The general manager said "Bugs are a natural occurrence in the world."

THE GOOD: Very close the airport. Very close to Manhattan Beach and El Segundo. ***THE BAD -This hotel is roach infested. There are 3 restaurants that likely contribute to this. The staff are friendly however management is unresponsive when called upon to solve problems. I spoke to guest services, the general manager and the loss prevention manager. I went as far as to call Marriot corporate. To my surprise - they all seemed to think that a roach in my room was ok. I expect more from a hotel of this caliber. Easy shuttle from airport - fantastic hotel. Much better that the other 3 1/2- 4 star hotels! Definitely would stay here again!

The staff was helpful but snooty.
Self parking is outrageously priced. Was at hotel less than 12 hours and parking cost $27.50.

The parking was too expensive.

I would recommend this hotel rooms are clean and the staff are very helpful, but the parking was $27 per day, it doesn't include breakfast but the location was great. They also offer 24 hour shuttle and if you want to rent a car withHertz they. Have an office inside of the hotel.
