Hotel Guest Reviews of the Madison - Days Inn Northeast

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It was clean, spacious, and the staff wad helpful & polite.
The bathroom fan was very noisy. An even though the breakfast food was delicious, the space had a difficult lay out and was small, making it hard to maneuver comfortably and safely.

Cheap and convenient location. And still has a small pool and workout room.
Dated, and breakfast is cheap.

Dated, but you know what you are getting into. Much safer than many hotels of similar quality.

I just needed a bed, and that fit the bill.
Unsafe outlets and light switches, no drain plug in the sink, and the tv did not get even half of the stations posted in the room.

I was in need of a bed after a long day in bad weather and had an early start the next day. My main concern was the bed. I needed a place to sleep. However, with unsafe electrical outlets and light swithces, I would not reccomned this place for someone with kids. I was also disapointed with not having a drain plug in the sink, and wish I would have gotten at least half of the television stations posted in the room. ...read more

It was convenient for what we wanted to do.

The hotel was fine. The pool was pretty cold, but overall it is a nice place.

the hot tub wasnt hot so my pregnant wife could actually sit in it with the jets
stunk, dirty, food sucked, no clean towels for the second morning, heater smelled like fire

Good location but the room sucked. King Bed was hard as a rock, the room smelled like cigarettes when you walked in. the garbage cans were not emptied. We turned the heater on and it smelled like it was on fire. The food sucked the egg patties were hard only two different kinds of cereals and u got bagels and toast thats it. we asked the dront desk for new towels the 2nd morning and they didnt have any told us to track down a house keeper. Bedding was dirty just an over all BAD experience! ...read more

Reasonable quality for a decent price
Looked worn.

The hotel served its purpose and provided a reasonable room at a decent price. It was really and truly a standard Days Inn experience for those who've visited one previously - friendly staff, reasonably clean, but dated look/nothing looks super fresh. No problems with the room whatsoever. Mattress was a little on the firm side but was good enough.

The pool.
We had to be moved three times due to problems with the rooms.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The first room that we was in had a bad problem with ants, the second room had no heat, the third room was OK. Having to be moved a few different times was a big pain. Even the hot tub had ants crawling all around it. I feel that we should have been able to get out money back for at least one of the nights.
