Hotel Guest Reviews of the Magnuson Copper Crown
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 7, 2013

The location is just a few blocks from the bridge leading into Hancock. It is on the left hand side of the street so a little difficult to get to if you are unfamiliar with the area. The place was nice and quite so sleeping was not a problem. Overall the hotel can't be beat for the money.

Older but well maintained hotel in downtown Hancock. We could walk many places, but also close to main routes. Nice parking structure, for loading and unloading but a little tight for our F-150 4x4, but I wouldn't want to be in the Keweenaw in winter without it.But they have a large parking lot across the street for larger vehicles and those with with trailers.

Very friendly staff. Initially, we had a 2nd floor room, but when I mentioned that I had arthritis in my knees, we were given a 1st floor room. We mentioned that the bathroom door malfunction. We were thanked for bringing it to the their attention and informed us that it would be fixed immediately. Having both outside and inside entries was very convenient.

This place is an older motel. Pretty clean but worn down. I was irritated at the increased charge for the 2 queen beds especially since the motel was only at about 30% capacity. We had to change rooms three times because the heater was broke in the second room. Probably will not stay here again.
