Majestic Hotel South Beach

the guy at the front desk is so rude and took advantage of us. He tried to charge us $50 Per person, per night for anyone that came to visit us while we were there plus tax and resort fees it came out to about $120 for each person. They didnt even stay with us!! Just for coming in the front door. When we refused he told us he would pull a security video and count each person that walked in and out of the room. NOT WORTH IT! The location is perfect! Everything was great-food nearby, view, staff, and valet services. The only thing was the bathroom was kind of small but it still worked for me (I'm 5'4, 140lbs).

Good location. Discounted price reasonable but I don't think I'd pay full room rate.

I had to check-out due to mold in my room and stay elsewhere in South Beach for two nights.

A great place to stay if you want to be in the heart of South Beach. Everything was walking distant. The hotel had a restaurant out front that plays music around the clock so if you want to avoid the noise somewhat, try to request for a room in the back. Staff was decent. Walls are thin. They transferred us to a different hotel, who then transferred us to yet another different hotel. Each succesive hotel was lower in quality, and the last one removed our belongings from our room while we were out (!!). Very bad form. No communication with us. They just went in and grabbed all our things, packing them up however they saw fit, and moved our belongings to the lobby. Any hotel that will do that without a simple phone call, email, text message is very bad. Their explanation was that another guest had booked for that night that they needed to accomodate. The location of the hotel is great. The room was nice. The service was good. There is some weird store in the basement and it also smells luke roach spray. Its kind of outdated. If your just needing a place to sleep and change it will work. I guess *shruggs*

i do not recomend this place to anybody. the worst place i stay in miami ever. the only good thing ; the location.
