Hotel Guest Reviews of the Mammoth Mountain Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 3, 2013

Great location on the mountain. The 20 dollar resort fee was a sur prise.

They offer a shuttle. Get there early to check in, park your car in the garage so you don't have to deal with a buried car, and take their shuttle to the village or any other restaurants. No driving all weekend!

The booking process through Priceline.com is always good, however on this trip, upon checking in was informed that they only had a room with one bed and up-charged for extra loft. There is also a $20 resort fee. If you want to snack, suggest you bring your own as candy bars are $3 each. The restaurant is somewhat overpriced for the quality-but still good, but is convenient as location is removed from the town: you can take the shuttle but after a long day of skiing, probably will do the same and pay for the convenience. ...

Roads were closed on the way there. Hotel offered no sympathy or helped better the situation in any way.

Great location...200 yards to main lodge, nice bar, bed was comfy, staff was very aloof.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. Both experiences were excellant. The initial room we were assigned was not that great, but meet the price we paid. We asked for a change because of the outside noise and they were able to accomodate us. Because it was early season (but the snow was great)the was pleaty of rooms available and the upgrade was beyond expectations! ...

Hotel is a good choice for "in season" travelers intending to ski/snowboard. Property itself is nice, but lacking the "wow" factor. However, proximity to ski slopes is hard to beat.

The building appears outdated from the outside, but the lobby and rooms are quite modern. The staff members were relatively disinterested. The resort fee is not good.
