Hotel Features
The non-gaming Mandarin Oriental is housed in the first 23 floors of a 47-story building, with only 392 guestrooms for a more intimate boutique feel than other Strip hotels. "Wow" is what you'll say to the superb views from the 23rd floor "sky lobby." The sumptuous but understated rooms feature views of the city/mountains or Strip. You're probably never going to fall asleep on something as dreamy as the beds with 480-thread-count Egyptian-cotton linens and pillowtop mattresses. It's non-stop high tech, with 42-inch LCD TVs, DVD players, CD players, iPod docks, and best of all, bedside electronic control of lights, temperature, entertainment, and draperies. The Negotiator doesn't like to just look at his own mug in the mirror when he shaves. He doesn't need to, since the bathroom mirrors have built-in 15-inch LCD TVs. Retreat to the lavish outdoor deck for a view of the city, a swim in one of two heated lap pools, a soak in a spa tub, or a plunge in the plunge pool. Better yet, have the pool butler bring you a cool cocktail. The hotel also has a fitness center, Asian day spa, yoga studio, and valet parking (surcharge). If you'd like to dine or drink, there's a French fusion restaurant, bistro, chic bar with views, and tea lounge.

Hotel Location
The Mandarin is right on the Strip in the ravishing City Center complex, which also includes Aria and the luxury Crystals shops. The Bellagio is to the north, New York New York to the south, and MGM Grand is across the street. The Monorail has a stop at the Aria.
