Smell, but that might've just been the area.

This hotel is only good if you plan to spend a minimal amount of time in the room.

The staff was very accommodating. We arrived prior to their normal check in time so I called the place to see if we are able to check in early. They were able to get a room ready by the time we arrived at the hotel.
I understand that this place is not a 3 or 4 star motel. However, I did expect the room to be clean and I was extremely disappointed. There were cobwebs on the ceiling, the doors and handles were dirty. The sink faucet was dripping the entire time and th

The marina dock area.
Spider webs in my room, I asked the desk clerk to attend to it upon check in, it was never done.

The room was nice, quiet and spacious. We were unhappy with the staff,s response to a request to remove the cob webbs in all of the corners and baseboards of our room. A task that would have taken 15 minutes or so.

Great staff, great food, immaculate rooms, great price and many amenities! Everything we needed.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and immaculately kept by the cheerful and always accommodating housekeeping staff. There was a desk to do my work, a table to eat at, a flat screen TV, free WiFi, wake up service, a view of the swimming pool and the river, a refrigerator, a microwave, a hairdryer, a coffee pot, and daily packets of coffee. The desk clerks were on call 24-7 and always made sure that our every request was catered. The food in the restaurant was very good, even by New York standards. There was always space in the parking lot, right in front of the hotel entrance.

Good price for the New Orleans Jazz festival weekend.
The first room they sent us to had an occupant in the room when we opened the door.
