Hotel Guest Reviews of the Marina Village Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Friendly staff and great location. Excellent price for the location. Definetely stay at this location if are in the area once more.
Everything was great. Nothing to complain about. Not the easiest place to find, but if you have GPS, no problem finding the place.

Great location and seems like very safe neighborhood.

We enjoyed the location on the marina. The view was nice, as was the staff.
This hotel met or exceeded all of our expectations in all areas.

This motel is in a peaceful location on the water between two yacht clubs and a groovy apartment building. I felt safe leaving my car in the lot over night. The staff are easy-going, friendly, and helpful.Getting personal needs met is easy, as there are a couple of strip malls and a grocery store nearby. Downtown Alameda is not far away, with plenty of options for dining. In the opposite direction, Jack London Square is just a few minutes away at the other end of the tube, offering great food at most any hour. The beaches on Alameda are pretty, with great views of S.F., and there is a skate park with a great view and friendly locals of all ages. ...read more

The room was a little small but very modern comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and very prompt to resolve any issues.

The area was very convenient providing shopping and attractions close. It was very clean and safe and a short walk to the marina for wonderful veiw.

The view (see below).
If you wanted proximity to restaurants, this is not your spot but for a quiet and scenic bay view and a comfortable room at a good price, it hits the spot.

I thought it was a great deal for the money. I had a comfortable and clean room overlooking the Bay and a boat harbor. There were extras such as a microwave and a decent sized frig.

Hotel was right on the waterfront.
Only used the room to sleep.

Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel room (baseball game). Seemed like a good hotel. We got a great price through Priceline, so can't really complain.

Liked the proximity to the Marina enjoyed viewing the marina and liked walking on the 1.5 mile accessible pathway along the marinas.
Liked everything I will stay here again. maybe only drawback is not walking distance to selection of restaurants.

The room was clean and comfortable wish I could have stayed another day. the shower head was great had more pressure than is allowed by law, left skeaky clean. The room was complete with a refrigerator & micro wave which I found handy could heat up my coffee.

We really loved being able to walk out just a few doors and be by the water.

We were very strapped for cash, had an early appointment the following day in Oakland and wanted to stay somewhere safe. The Marina Inn met all of our expectations and it even came with breakfast. What more could we ask for. Thank you so much.

The location was good, with walks around the marina available.

The price is high for the quality of the rooms and bathrooms. It is what you would expect in a 2 star hotel, but priced like a 3 star.
