Hotel Guest Reviews of the Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort And Spa
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Amazingly relaxing hotel! The pool was built right next to the bar (with seats inside the pool) so you didn't even have to get out to order a drink. They did have Happy Hour where the drinks were buy 1 get one free which we really enjoyed. Afterwards, we went to the dinner buffet show located outside along the riverfront. Really quite nice and the dancing, although somewhat slow, was still enjoyable to watch. The food was fantastic, but pricey... although not much different than what we have paid at other upscale hotels. AND after the show, we took the ferry across to the brand new night market to do some shopping. This was truly fabulous! I was expecting more of a flea market atmosphere where I would need to watch my valuables closely. Instead, the market was clean, well laid out, and if fact, as nice if not nicer than some of the outdoor shopping malls in America. Also, I bargained with every vendor... getting a good price for my goods. Very entertaining! Overall, I would love to go back to vacation at this hotel. ...

Staff very helpful, friendly. Beautiful setting. Grounds were kept up very nice. Plenty of restaurants, though overpriced. Attached to the resort was a nice shopping mall/center. Free shuttle boats every 20 minutes to Central pier. From there you can catch sky train. If not the sky train, shopping district is a very short walk. Will be staying here again on my next visit.

I will never ever go back to this hotel. Staff didn't do anything for guests. Bad service overall! All shampoo stuff were low grade to offer guests.
