Hotel Guest Reviews of the Marriott Crystal Gateway

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The metro access inside the hotel.
The parking fee is ridiculous when I'm already paying for the room and breakfast. It seemed like I was paying for every little thing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for any family vacations or leisure trips. The room service was incredibly poor as well.

I would not recommend this hotel for anything but a business trip that was company fronted! Bland staff and service! Not a good choice for family trips or couple get-a-ways.

For the price we paid, this was a great value. The staff was professional, and the room was very clean. No issues whatsoever.
I did not like that overnight parking costs an additional $26 dollars, which jacked overall cost of staying at the hotel. However, even with the additonal expense, the hotel was a good value.

My favorite part about the hotel was its proximity to the Metro Subway Line. There is even an entrace that connects directly to the hotel. Getting into downtown DC was a breeze.

Best hotel bed I've ever slept in. Hands down.
The soap irritated my skin, somewhat. But other than that, nothing.

I already told my friends that the hotel bed was amazing. There weren't any "cons" and a lot of pros. I also like the connectivity to Crystal City and the Metro.

The staff (front desk, house keeping) was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing.
There wasn't anything that I did not like. Everything was great.

Rooms are decent but location is awesome and lobby HUGE. Great place to work online and stretch out
The hotel restaurants are seriously OVERpriced. Instead, visit the local restaurants and dives on 23rd street.

Marriotts are predictable: friendly staff, clean rooms, and lots of onsite amenities. The location is spectacular - convenient to DCA and the Metro so you can easily get anywhere in DC (or the world, for that matter).

The paid wifi was horrible. Drinks at the sundry station were too expensive.
