Hotel Guest Reviews of the Marriott Fort Lauderdale North
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(23) | Solo Traveler(23) | Traveling as Couple(28) | Family with Young Children(11) | Family with Teens(5) | Senior Traveler(8) | Group Traveler(3)

What I liked most about the hotel was the staff. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. In particular I appreciated the maid service. At some hotels the maid service can be very directed at getting their job done and impersonal. Not here.
For a 3.5 star level hotel I was amazed at how "beat" the hotel looked. At best it had a 3 star feel and it's condition, in my opinion, could have qualified for a 2.5 star hotel. I have stayed in many 3 star hotels that were nicer than this 3.5 star.
Overall it was not a bad hotel. However, as stated above I don't know how a 3.5 star rating was assigned to this hotel when it did not have the feel of most 3 star hotels I have stayed in. No major complaints and overall enjoyed my stay. Would stay again but definitely not a 3.5 star price. This is why I use Priceline.

It was a beautiful hotel, cozy, roomy, picturesque....and large rooms!!Johnny at the Bar was very nice and handsome!! It was also very clean hotel as well!!
It is near NOWHERE!!!!! Near NOTHING, you NEED a car to stay at this HOTEL!!! The staff was stuffy and did not seem to know how to direct me to a bus route!! Most suggested that I pay $30-50 for taxi rides......The nicest staff were Bria and Johnny.
Stay closer to the Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. Need more friendler hotel staff to work there!!!

Our a/c was not working. When we called to inform front desk they sent someone immediately. He was so nice (Hugo) and repaired it right away. Pool and hottub were great.

This Marriott is wonderful. It's a little off the beaten path but well worth it with a great price. My favorite hotel when working in the area.
Can't find anything I didn't like
Other than being a little off the beaten path, it is wonderful and the staff is terrific.

Room was fantastic. Location was a little far out from downtown Fort Lauderdale but nice and secluded.
There was not a sauna as advertised on the hotel amenties. Also, whirlpool could use some extra maintenance as it was VERY cloudy. Given it was spring break, pool area and whirlpool was running over with kids.
Very convenient to I-95. Hotel is on a busy street but the way it is landscaped makes it seem secluded.
