Hotel Guest Reviews of the Marriott Long Island Hotel And Conference Cntr
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.December 18, 2012

My wife and I booked this hotel mainly for watching preseason NBA game: Brooklyn Nets vs. New York Knicks in Nassau Coliseum. The location of the hotel is great, the Nassau Coliseum is in front walk 5 minutes, we can see from our window. The room is big and comfortable with all necessary facilities. The hotel is good for business conference even it is a little bit dated.

you shouldn't have to pay more for internet.
It's an attractive hotel (although in a less than attractive setting) with beautiful public spaces. I know it's the case for most larger hotels, but I greatly dislike that I have to pay for internet at an expensive hotel, but it's free at a discount hotel.

On the positive side, staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. However, this hotel misses the mark on a number of issues. The whirlpool was not working, apparently for a long time, according to other guests. Same for the sauna in mens room. Drinks in the lobby bar were mostly ice and definitely not worth their price. There was a charge for pretty much everything, including room internet, equipment in business center, etc. ...
