Hotel Guest Reviews of the Marriott New Orleans
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(11) | Solo Traveler(18) | Traveling as Couple(65) | Family with Young Children(15) | Family with Teens(7) | Senior Traveler(1) | Group Traveler(15)

The staff was excellent!
Parking was an additional $40 for the night even with the room. This was not explained at check in.

The location is walking distance from the best of the French Quarter and fine dining.
I don't like to have to pay for internet service at this star level. Hotels that are nowhere near this nice offer free internet service. Just felt like it cheapened the experience. Kind of like getting nickel and dimed to death.
The property is all Marriott, nothing is out of place. Very medern amenities and most important, I felt safe. We were able to walk to dinner every evening and walked to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street with no problem.

The staff was very helpful and most welcoming. They changed my room within minutes of me mentioning that our original room was close to the elevator. I was extremely impressed with the very accommodating staff.
The parking was very expensive, but despite this I definitely would stay here again because the entire staf from the parking attendants, concierge, bellmen, gift shop, housekeepers, andnd especially the front desk staff were great!
Great location in the French Quarters and very clean.

If you are on vacation or there for business, you really cannot do better for location. It is near everything. Staff were courteous. Loved having valet parking. Very quiet hotel.
Parking is expensive, but keep in mind you are near downtown and its valet parking. Wifi was also expensive, but you can get free wifi in the lobby.

Great location. Very friendly & helpful staff. Large lobby.
Parking is expensive which is very common for New Orleans hotels. Walking distance to French Quarter as well as Central Business District.

The first room they gave me had an awful mildew/party smell that was really bad and I asked to be transfered to another room.

Lounge lacked adequate serving staff for the number of people there. Had to get your own drinks at the bar.

Location
No coffee or coffee cups in room. Had to go downstairs & buy Starbucks! Only two towels and only shampoo for amenities. I do not think room had been checked to receive guests!
