Hotel Guest Reviews of the Marriott New Orleans
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 10, 2013

The pool doesn't get any sun until 12:00pm due to the building architecture. But when it does get there, the pool is a great relaxing place up on the 5th floor away from the street traffic.

It was priceline I was unhappy with entirely. When I booked I specifically requested May 3rd to 7th, when I hit ok. It gave me 4-8th!! It was a mess!! So unhappy! I had to re-book the same hotel after determining it was a better rate after cancelling. Everything but, Princeline was fantastic!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL ... it was loud, stunk, and the parking was a nightmare ... the car valets got into a fight with a taxi driver ... did not seem to care about my concerns about the conditions of the two rooms ... run away!

A very good choice if you're going to do the tourist bit in downtown New Orleans.

Room was dirty, check in desk wanted me to pay
xxx to upgrade my room. Room was dirty. Bathroom was nasty. Peeling and chipped paint. A/c did not work. The a/c filter was full of dirt. Noise levels were terrible. I did not sleep.

I think there are better deals out there. It's a good hotel, but there were a lot of hidden charges. I would have chosen another hotel if I had known.
