Hotel Guest Reviews of the Marriott Orlando World Center
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 5, 2013

This hotel is in a fantastic location if you're visiting the theme parks. The lobby is spacious and the front desk crew are extremely pleasant, as are those that work throughout the hotel. The pool is large but not as new as shown in pictures. The restaurants are nice but overly priced. Parking is in a garage away from the hotel, but a shuttle is constantly picking up and dropping off. We would stay there again. ...

I would without a doubt stay here again. Very nice hotel. Very close to Disney parks.

We were overjoyed at the location of the Marriott World Center, and how clean it was but we were disappointed in the fact that they charge you for every little thing. I picked up two items from the "snack" tray located by the tv and didn't even eat anything. At the end of our stay we were charged for those items. Apparently, the tray is electronic and senses when you pick something up. Well, if you put it back down and don't consume it, you still get charged. In the end the front desk credited me back those charges but I have never seen anything so sneaky at a hotel before. Also, the food court had VERY limited hours and there is nowhere in the hotel past 11pm to get a simple snack. Not even one vending machine. Seems a little strange for such a monstrous place. The prices in the food court and actually everywhere there were WAY overpriced. We would not stay there again. ...

The staff was great. The pool looked amazing, but we never went because we spent all our time at Disney. Really, the only bad thing about this hotel is if you have a car you are going to have to hike to and from the parking garage.

If it wasn't for my Priceline Price, I would never pay for this place. The walk from the parking garage to the lobby is GRUELING and they should pay us. Staff, upon arrival, did not give me the type of room I had discussed earlier in the day. Because I had 2 small children with me, I discussed certain request that were granted, over the phone, but were "not available" when we got there. The night lady (8 PM) was your typical "take it or leave it" person. She obviously knew I used Priceline and was determined to give me one of their worst rooms even though the NICER lady the next day told me they were only 80% booked. Priceline is honest when they say you can get a room in a 5 star hotel. The HOTEL is 5 star but the room is 2 Star. Clever wording, Capt. Kirk. Got in about 10 PM one night and notice the empty room service tray across the hall from us. It was still there 9:30 AM the next day. 4 Star? My own 9 year old son noticed it was there. More like a Holiday Inn hall way. High Velocity restaurant was a joke. Our booth had a wonderful view of a concrete wall, the individual TV at our both did not work, a HUGE chandelier blocked 2 of the other TV (really stupid) and the common back for my booth shook and vibrated everytime the person on the other side moved. They charge 4 star prices but deliver 2 star experience. The hostess nor waitress offered to move us to one of the other 3 empty booths. Oh, and the entire hotel (all restaurants) ran out of chocolate and vanilla ice-cream. This was at 7:30 PM. $ Star? Send somebody to Publix to buy a few boxes. The entire hotel staff was Hispanic and all had that "attitude" as if they were doing YOU the favor. There was only one White person working the desk and she helped fixed my parking problem. She was the only one who smiled. This hotel delivers 2 - 3 star service but charges 5 star prices. Typical of today. Luckily I had read other reviews before the trip and took our own toilet paper and bath towels. ...
