Solo Traveler
The Hotel is off the main road enough, so the road noise is not troublesome. The room is quite good for the price, the bed comfortable, and the heater very quiet and effective. The people running the place are as friendly as you could possibly hope for. They were absolutely great.

This motel is very central to many Tahoe attractions but away enough to not have to hear the loud disturbances. It's nice to be able to travel with your pets and not have to stress about fees and being over surveillance. The showers are a bit small and room layout can be seen as odd. None the less this is a great place to stay at when on the go.

Our stay at the Matterhorn was pleasant. Strong heater and a clean room was very pleasant. Minutes away from major ski resorts. Hot water. Really nice family owned hotel.

Nice clean Establishment. better than motel six since they don't charge for WIFI, fridge and microwave. Basically good exp. Nice Staff.

Our group needed a cheap hotel just for one night sleep. We arrived very late (2AM), but that was not a problem with the hotel staff. They were very kind and helpful.

Great motel for the price. Rooms are nice, nothing fancy, but comfortable and clean. Owners were very nice people. Would definitely stay there next trip.
