Hotel Guest Reviews of the Matterhorn Motel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(1) | Solo Traveler(6) | Traveling as Couple(6) | Family with Young Children(6) | Family with Teens(3) | Group Traveler(2)

The location and price are excellent for going ski all day at Sierra at Tahoe.
The only problem was the "King" bed was smaller than we expected, should have chosen the two-bed room.

The hotel staff made the difference during our stay. Very accommodating and treated us as family. The room provided us the basics that we needed. Will stay here again on our next Tahoe trip.

Very friendly staff. Nice, clean room. Ceiling fan. Quiet area away from casinos. Cable, microwave, refrigerator.. Comfortable beds.
The AC unit in our room could not be plugged in so no AC but the ceiling fan was nice to cool off.
Great hotel for the price. I was very pleased with the staff and the clean room. I like the older looking building, nice style.

The staff was quite friendly.
The TV was very small.
Friendly staff, clean room. Would have liked to have a better TV for the price.

Friendly staff, Great location and clean rooms.
Our stay at the Matterhorn was pleasant. Strong heater and a clean room was very pleasant. Minutes away from major ski resorts. Hot water. Really nice family owned hotel.

Great motel for the price. Rooms are nice, nothing fancy, but comfortable and clean. Owners were very nice people. Would definitely stay there next trip.
