Hotel Guest Reviews of the Mayfair Hotel And Spa
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

The surroundings were tropically lush. The hotel service was excellent. This hotel is within walking distance of all of the entertainment district in Coconut Grove. Parking in the Grove is very limited and every spot is metered. Best to leave your car with the valet service and walk. By car you can explore the old neighborhoods bordering the entertainment district. These neighborhoods haven't changed in 50 years and you can get a sense of Old Florida in contrast to the glitzy glam of Miami. ...

Staff was very accommodating. Located in the heart of Coconut Grove. Decor is very unique combination of tropical, Aztec, and other motifs that I can't define, but it was very interesting.

While this hotel is a nice hotel and I am sure quite lovely in its day, I would not consider it a 4 star hotel today. Perhaps a 3 to 3.5 star at the most. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful and certainly understand the concept of promoting "customer service".

Everything was outstanding except that the tile floors could have used some more vacuuming.

Very nice place to stay. Staff may not be too friendly if you're young
