Hotel Guest Reviews of the Michelangelo Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Staff was very helpful. Upgraded me to a junior suite. This hotel (the old Taft Hotel) is very up to date, but also quite historic. And a truly great location!
A little pricy, but this is, after all, New York. I have no complaints.

This is a great old hotel, thoroughly updated and remodeled. The staff was very helpful, and the location couldn't have been better--very close to two subway stations on different lines, and very close to Times Square and many theaters.

We were upgraded to a suite and it was amazing!! It was our anniversary weekend so it was a great surprise. The hotel was right around the corner from Times Square so it was a perfect location.
The check-in time was a little late in the day, but we did appreciate the later check-out time.

The Michelangelo is right in the heart of Times Square and has convenient parking at a reduced rate. The rooms are amazing (clean, elegant, tidy) and the staff is sure to make you feel welcome, even turning on music in the room quietly to welcome you! It was a great experience and we intend to stay there anytime we return to NYC.

The room space and interior decor, both the private and public spaces were Italinate, all of the extras one expects in a fine hotel, chocolates, turn down services, robes, greatsheets, beautiful finishing touches-large showers, great ipad players, wet bar
Everywhere they had placed additional "for purchase" items, not just the minibar, but on the vanity and throughout the room, so one had to be very careful not to confuse the gifts with those the hotel did not intend to gift.

Great location! Very helpful staff and beautiful lounge and common areas. The rooms are large for Manhattan and its mid-town location was still very quite and luxurious

The staff were all amazing - I felt pampered by everyone, and they all paid special attention to my son as well...from the maid to the bellboy, he felt like he had a bunch of new friends.

Great location - close to Times Square, short walk to Central Park, 1 block from subway. Perfect place to be!

Minibar, comfortable beds, nice bathroom.
For the price the room could been more elegant. For example staybridge provides kitchens in the room.

Very nice lobby, room was comfy and I loved the mini-bar.

The bar was very nice and the lobby beautiful
The carpet in our room was stained, and we couldn't get cell phone service in our room

The hotel is ideally situated and the front desk staff very helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. I was a little disappointed that there was no coffee/tea machine in the room, nor any ironing board/iron.
