Solo Traveler
Very pleased. Not a luxury hotel, but that's not expected. It was a great value and I recommend the hotel if you need a place to sleep and and work.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was close to ECU, and it was located in a safe area, right near the hospital and medical buildings in Greenville. I was worried about staying at a cheaper hotel because I have stayed at old and dirty hotels before, but the Microtel was new. My bed was very comfortable - the comforter was not one of those disgusting quilted nightmares that never get washed at many hotels; it was a soft white comforter. The room was small, but the quality was good. Definitely a great hotel for short stays. I highly recommend it! ...

Conveniently located near East Carolina University, clean & nicely-furnished room with comfortable beds, good continental breakfast that included make-your-own waffles. Breakfast server kept food stocked & breakfast area clean.

Clean, well-lighted parking lot; clean & nicely furnished room. Breakfast options were generous continental-type with make-you-own waffles & breakfast server kept area clean & well-stocked. Sound from adjoining rooms can be heard easily, especially TV since they are mounted on walls.

The staff was very helpful upon arrival. The hotel is fairly new and was extremely clean and presentable. Flat panel Vizio TV was a plus. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner/heat is controlled with a digital wall thermostat so you don't have to fiddle with that knob to find your comfort level. There is a Jimmy John's Sub shop right next door with many other restaurants just up the road. I think this hotel is the best value in Greenville. I have stayed here multiple time, have always been pleased and will continue to book here whenever I'm in the area. ...
