Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Manila/At Mall Of Asia

Great location and near MOA and airport. Comfortable beds and pillows, food in the restaurant is also good especially the kare kare.

The hotel was adequate for my needs. I was only in the Philippines for a short time and Microtel met my expectations. Their breakfast buffet spread was great and the selection catered to every palate. After you have had your breakfast, you can practically skip lunch and just have an early dinner as their buffet is very filling and flavorful. This is ideal if you are always on the go and time is of the essence. You can hang around the dining room until you would have your fill. The hotel staff were courteous specially the doormen and the restaurant waiters and bus boys. It is close to the airport. If your relatives or friends are busy and cannot take you around, you can walk or take a shuttle to MOA, walk the bayfront and walk to the church. I am a Wyndham Resort owner here in the US and I could have used up my points but it was too late when I found out that this hotel was also owned by Wyndham. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's walking distance from the SM Mall of Asia and the Board walk.

Overall, we were satisfied with the amenities in the room, quite roomy. The hotel provided filtered water on each floor as tap water not drinkable. Complimentary breakfast was a major plus with ample selection. Staff very friendly and attentive. Proximity to airport was nice barring traffic. We felt quite safe in that location. Walking distance to Mall of Asia. Make sure you indicate to the taxis in that area to use the meter...quite annoying that you have to remind them. They overprice if they do not use the meter. I could not have been more pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of this hotel! It is in an amazing, newly developed area that is a very short drive from the airport. After a very long day of traveling, this hotel was a refreshing place to stay.
