Hotel Guest Reviews of the Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Elkhart

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location was great. It was clean and had a nice TV and there was even a fridge and microwave in the room. Plenty of choices for eating out within a mile or less.
The bed was not real comfortable and the room was very small. The cost was a little high for the quality of the room.

I would stay at this motel if it was just for a night or two.

The room decor choices were modern - nice.
There were crackers on the floor that was hidden by the bedskirt - gross!

Room design was awesome
Ironing board and/or iron was dirty and soiled my dress shirt

Rooms are beautiful for the price level. Design and decor are awesome.

Location was okay.
The room was extremely small. The staff in general was not terribly friendly. (Aside from the one girl I mentioned above) The internet was terrible, the continental breakfast was not the greatest and the room itself was extremely small.

The hotel was okay. I wouldn't say it is probably the best one in the area. I would definitely eat the cost and stay in the Staybridge Suites or a Marriott close by if I was in the area again. Not many options for breakfast. Most of the staff was less than friendly. I have worked for Marriott and I know this is an important part of the Front Desk positions. All in all it wasn't the greatest nor the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. ...read more

Location was right by several eating restaurants and limited shopping.
Not really. Excellent property.

Recommend IF you want to confirm your specific room-type to write a brief letter to hotel directly. Priceline.com does not give you a Comment Area to fill out to request specific things you may require. Example: people who have trouble walking should always request a room close to the elevator; people who have asthma should always make sure their confirmed room IS a Non-Smoking Room. Specific needs for individuals should be specified. Priceline.com does not offer this feature in the original hotel request prior to payment submitted. ...read more

For no longer than we needed to stay, it was a good deal.
Lack of electrical plugs. My husband and I both use CPAP machines and there was only 1 plug available by the bed.

This hotel is very modern and clean. The lobby is nice.
This hotel is very unfriendly to priceline. Priceline bookings are a single room. This room has the tiniest queen bed you have ever seen and about 2 feet of walking space surrounding the bed. There is no chair or floor space for extra sleeping.

The breakfast is very limited in choices, but it is clean and of decent quality. The lobby area is very nice looking. The room looks nice too. It is so tiny though. The people at the front desk were very kind until I even asked about possibly having a room with 2 beds. They absolutely refused and weren't very nice then.
