Hotel Guest Reviews of the Midtown Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 2, 2013

This hotel is situated in a convenient location close to many Boston places of interest, e.g.Northeastern University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Copley Square, Prudential Center and it is reasonably priced. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

I would not stay here again nor recommend it to a friend. I was not made aware that the hotel charged 22.00 for the night for parking nor did they have wifi available for their customers. It was 20.00 a day extra if you wanted wifi. Our friends hotel up the street which was nicer and only 25.00 more a night had free parking and wifi. The front desk help on the late night shift were hesitate to let our friends in the hotel and asked me if I'd be having them spend the night because it was an additional fee. It was embarrassing and insulting. The room was dirty smelling and the bathroom floor had hairs all over it. The mirrors were not even cleaned well. The beds had dips in them and were obviously old mattresses. I was also given a parking bill that had another customers name on it. Extremely disappointing. ...

Although I didn't check in until late night (11pm) and was only staying overnight the staff at this hotel was super friendly, accomodating and knowledgable of stuff to do late night right within a 5 minute walk of the hotel! I'll definately go back!

The only good thing about this hotel was the staff and the location.

We picked this hotel due to the closeness to Fenway Park. We went to a night game, and the hotel was a 15 minute walk to and from the park. It served it's purpose. We felt safe walking back at 11:00 p.m. An added bonus was the waived parking fee ($18) by showing our ticket stub upon check-out.
My son enjoyed a morning swim before check out. The only down sides would be no breakfast offered, and incredibly small bathrooms. The front section has no door and is where the sink is. The back section is the toilet and shower, and is separated with a sliding door. No more than one person can fit in each section at a time, with little wiggle room. The upsides were the excellent hotel staff. They were upbeat, professional, and extremely helpful. They left a great first impression of the hotel! The room was your average hotel room- 2 beds, 2 chair, and a TV. No frills, but that did not bother us, since we were only sleeping in the room and left the next day. Overall a nice hotel, with great staff, great pool, and a small bathroom. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting for a baseball game, or visiting the city and wanting to be in the center of it all.

The physical location is prime, but the premesis have not been renovated since the 90's. Felt very cheap.
