Hotel Guest Reviews of the Millennium Gloucester London

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location

A wonderful experience in London. Very busy. It was nice to get back to Gloucester Road st the Millinium where it is was quieter to relax and enjoy the pubs and restaurants that where nearby.

Great location conveniently located across from the tube, and good location in South Kensington close to plenty of good restaurants and pubs.
Some of the rooms have been updated and some seem to be outdated. We stayed on a nonsmoking floor (2) and it smelled like a casino.

Location, free upgrade to executive room, windows on two sides, classy entry,
having to pay for internet

Luxurious, close to Gloucester Rd tube on the convenient Piccadilly line, pretty, beds a bit on the hard side for me but typical of Europe.

The location. It's across the street from the Tube station and makes access to Heathrow Airport, Harrod's, Victoria & Albert Museum, Kensington Gardens very easy.
This hotel does not have free Wifi, not even in the lobby. They should offer FREE Wifi for its customers. Also, they charge 5 pounds to use an adapter. I've never heard of a hotel that charges for use of an adapter unless you lose or damage it.

The rooms offered to Priceline customers are not nearly as nice as the regular rooms. No free Wifi. You have to pay to use an adapter plug. They charge for every little thing, and do not even offer a complimentary bottle of water in the room for guests. This surprised me given that it's a reputable hotel. The great thing about this hotel is the location. This hotel is very BIG and has more of a business feel to it. ...read more

Great staff, helpful and accommodating. Fantastic location. Rooms are spacious for London.
The room was "tired" and it could have used a "face lift" -- not quite what I would have expected in a 4 star hotel in the US ... but perhaps par for the course for discounted hotels in London in terrific locations.

Location. Quiet Room. Bath tub. Proximity to coffee shops, grocery store, etc.

Great location! Easy access to the Piccadilly line on the Tube-super easy if you're flying in from Heathrow - pretty much takes you right to the hotel (Heathrow on Piccadilly line, exit at Gloucester station). If you fly into Terminal 4 it will take a little moving around to get to the Piccadilly line, but once there, it's about 30-40min, maybe 10 stops or more - just ask, everyone is very helpful. The hotel had really quiet rooms which is huge when you're wanting to get a good nights sleep to fuel the daily adventures (we were on the 5th floor). Also, an AMAZING bathtub! I'm 5'8" and it was big enough for me to stretch out completely.....loved that! The rooms are not "sparkling new", but they are well-maintained. There are two grocery stores within a two-minute walk, a couple of coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Overall, if you want a good hotel in a convenient location for going out and exploring this place is great! ...read more

Terrific location off Gloucester tube stop. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely large room & deep European style tub (with shower as well).
The safe was set so high above the hanging racks, that I could not see into it, and consequently left an item ( a watch) in the safe, which was not turned in to lost and found, though I reported its loss within two hours of my departure.

There is a small in-room refrigerator where you can store items that don't need a high level of refrigeration.
