Mision Catedral Morelia

Service was great, location is perfect right on strip, wish I could've stayed more than one night. I recommend staying on Saturday so you can see lighting of the church across the street.

The hotel is close to everything, many restaraunts within walking distance. shopping is plentiful. if you need personal items, I suggest walking to woolworths. You will find all the personal care items you will ever need here, as well as clothing. Next to Woolworths is a restaraunt called VIP'S it is a diner style place, very reasonable. I strongly recommend walking off of the main streets and you will find some very interesting stores that offer many local crafts as well as some unusual items. Taxis are plentiful and the price is reasonable to the Walmart shopping center, that has a cinema, subway, KFC and McDonalds.If you need to have money exchanged, the hotel will recommend a exchange house. be certain to take your passport for identification (State ID's will not work) or if you can check with your bank, some banks in the USA do business with Mexican banks and there are many within walking distance. The location of this hotel could not have been better! Although it was not fancy, our room was clean and suited our needs perfectly.
We noticed Wyndham Hotels on a piece of paper and asked if the hotel was owned by Wyndham - the answer was "yes" and we then understood that Wyndham probably had the arrangement
that was why this little hotel had no knowledge of it. Air-conditioning would have been nice but the temperature wasn't too hot and we were fine. I'd stay at the hotel again anytime - a value for our money! ...read more

Location could not have been better. Wonderful atmosphere. Great parking.

Hotel Catedral is well situated in the heart of Morelia, just across the Catedral and much to do. We were able to do much around downtown Morelia from herre. The rooms are nice and the staff is very helpful.
