Hotel Guest Reviews of the Miyako Hotel Los Angeles

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Staff were ok but we did not have much interaction. Nothing negative though
The parking was a bit hard but again, we are from Orange county.

Lacation was good for walking.

Location - close to japantown
The hotel is outdated and for the price they're charging per night, they have to provide better parking, update their decorations, wall, carpet, & bathroom. The bed is good but everything else is so outdated.

It would be nice if they accommodated guests that are there celebrating a special occasion. But because we got a deal from Priceline, they could not upgrade us, place us in a better room or even give us a king bed. Its not like the hotel was full. The hotel is outdated and I can't believe they charge as much as a 4 star hotel when their hotel definitely needs a full upgrade. Only the convenience made it bearable. ...read more

Great style, close to DOdger Stadium, nice staff
extra parking fee, no free parking.

Very nicely styled hotel, staff was helpful and courteous. Great downtown location in Little Tokyo. Only thing I didn't like was the extra parking fee and lack of free parking. Guess that's to be expected in downtown LA! Otherwise, very nice and I would return.

loved the location.
Had to pay for parking.Once we went into the parkade, we couldn't come and go with out being charged.

We were so close to the Staples Center. Also loved the restaurants in the area. The most amazing sushi.

Nothing
Dusty room. Rude staff. Old fashion decoration and old room. Poor tv reception.

Try not to stay in this hotel, nothing special and its not cheap too. I mean u can get better stuff with this price in LA

This was a great location if you are going to the Staple center and don't want to spend a $300+ dollars. Close to everything downtown and looks hip and modern. The carpet was dirty and had a sticky film so I didn't feel comfortable walking barefoot.

Location in little Tokyo fun, excellent staff, fine spa, and generally very comfortable. I would definitely return to the Miyako. I did not eat there so cannot comment on the food.

This is not a luxury hotel, but the staff is well trained and the service is very good. The spa is excellent. The location in Little Tokyo, a current hot spot is huge plus. I was able to go out at night and eat delicious ramen. Good value. I will return.

The location was great. The hotel was a bit older and didn't have that L.A. wow factor, but the rooms had been recently redone (new bedding, etc), and the staff was awesome.

Culturally diverse area with decent restaurants across the street. VERY close to other downtown attractions and cool bars. The bidet in the bathroom is a refreshing treat that you won't find in other modern hotels. Parking around the block is cheaper than the hotel, I would suggest this to those on a budget.
