Hotel Guest Reviews of the Miyako Hotel Los Angeles

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location, staff (the concierge was great!), beds were nice.
Parking rates, but it is downtown. $18 a night at the Miyako, but $40 at the Bonaventure.

The Miyako is a nice hotel right in Little Tokyo and is on the Dash A line which goes all the way over to Wilshire & Bixel in the Financial District. So the location is prime due to MANY close restaurants (The Korean BBQ across the street was excellent!) and being on key transportation routes. The hotel has wonderful staff, a very nice lobby and the rooms have nice beds and towels. The shower also has excellent water pressure and a handheld shower head! Overall an excellent stay! ...read more

The location was great. The hotel was a bit older and didn't have that L.A. wow factor, but the rooms had been recently redone (new bedding, etc), and the staff was awesome.

Culturally diverse area with decent restaurants across the street. VERY close to other downtown attractions and cool bars. The bidet in the bathroom is a refreshing treat that you won't find in other modern hotels. Parking around the block is cheaper than the hotel, I would suggest this to those on a budget.

The breakfast/snack bar was very handy. The room was spacious.
The public parking garage's elevator was broken so I had to carry my heavy suitcase up and down flights of stairs in a dingy scary stairway. The location was sort of odd. The room's furnishings were sort of beat up.

Convenient to downtown area.
Spa did not advertise prices so we did not even venture to ask.

Nice and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Location in Little Tokyo is convenient for Los Angeles business travellers
No POOL, or a fitness center!

Located in downtown L.A. in Little Tokyo. Parking is twenty dollars per night. No pool nor a gym. Hotel is a 2 or 2.5 star at best.

I didn't like the smell of the room. The hotel rooms need to be updated.
