Motel 6 Cutler Bay

Simple typical motel. I just needed a place to sleep and shower for the Brew at the Zoo beer fest. No frills, simple motel and very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The great thing this Hotel has is that they will find ways to please you even if the room didn't met your needs. They will find ways to make you feel satisfied. For me that's a big plus, no hotel has went beyond to make me feel pleased. Again I give it an A +.

Did exactly what it needed to do. We slept on a bed!

I would never stay at this hotel again, It is worth it to pay a little more. It was not very clean. Some of the staff treated my family and I very disrespectful, undeservingly. I don't even want to think about my stay there it was so horrible. Plan to write to Motel 6 about how bad it was.

Although the room was clean, it was old and had many areas of rust and mildew present. The floors are vinyl and feel cold and sticky when you walk around in bare feet. The windows are large and nice for letting in daylight but the drapes were old and worn. The hotel elevators are slow, outdated and very dirty so we used the stairs but they were even worse. If the inside of the hotel was maintained as well the outside it would be a pretty nice place to stay. As it was, the hotel worked for us as we primarily used it as a place to sleep and shower and the price was nice but I would not recommend it for any other type of use. Hotel room was horrible. My and my wife experienced bites on our legs from beg bugs. My wife got sick after room smelled like mildew and mold! Transients were hanging around inside the hotel lobby! This hotel has gone down the drain since changing owners and becoming a motel 6. I will NEVER stay hear again nor recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

The staff was nice but it was obvious room needed a good cleaning. There were baby roaches, dead bug in picture frame, internet quick working for the whole last day of our trip, but we still had to pay for it. We asked for no housekeeping, only to come back and find the housekeepers came in anyways.

All in all the motel is fine for business travelers who only sleep and leave. I had 2 kids, the pool was OK but very boring and un inviting. Thee was debris around the pool area. The hotel had a smell about it that was not refreshing. The elevators were so slow that I could walk the stairs quicker and the stairs were dirty and unlit. Also, there was full trash cans sitting around that had millions of flies and just plain stank of decaying food. The parking lot was OK but scary at night. All in all, I would never go to this motel again a nd it has left a bad taste for me to ever stop at a motel 6 again. Next trip to Miami,

Location was excellent. Was not told about pool being out of service until we arrived. Partly booked the hotel because of pool for the kids and they were disappointed.
