Hotel Guest Reviews of the Motel 6 Vallejo - Six Flags East

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The best thing about the hotel was it's price.
The Hotel had the ambiance of a roach motel, or a cardboard box behind safeway. I'm not saying that the place was no frills, but I was impressed that they actually had mirrors. I think a prison would be more welcoming than this Motel.

This motel was scetchy, I didn't feel safe there. While our stay was uneventfull, I would never have stayed on the ground floor and felt like we were lucky to escape without any damage to our cars or ourselves. I was worried about being robbed at one point when a man followed us to our car then our car to Denny's. When I checked in, I had to wait while a Prostitute and her client checked in. Not bad people, but just good to know if you intend to bring your family here. ...read more

close to Discovery Kingdom.
Smelled like smoke.

Our room was non smoking and it smelled like smoke. The bathroom was dirty and the air conditioner was broken. Would never stay here again.

Convenience, price and close to six flags was a major bonus
The non smoking rooms smelled like smoke!

Other than the horrible smell of cigarettes throughout all of the rooms, it was convenient and kid friendly

The best part of this hotel was leaving..
Rooms filled with carvings of gang stuff, area really bad. Staff. Basically everything.

Don't stay here. Don't stay here! Run! Broken glass everywhere including the pool, the cleaning staff is not good, there are a bunch of them but they just bother guests and never take care of the place. I wanted a hotel close to six flags, but the rest were sold out, I would rather drive an hour then stay here again. Please, if you care about anything don't stay here!

Nothing.
No mic, No Fridge, No shampoo, postage-stamp of a pool, rude/unhelpful staff.

This hotel was far below what I expected, they didn't even provide shampoo in their rooms. The staff was unhelpful, did not have the 2 non-smoking rooms I had booked, didn't even have my reservation correct (I booked two rooms with 1 adult 1 minor per room, they only had one room with 2 adults), and they refused to even look at my confirmation print up to verify what I was saying. ...read more

It was conveniently close to my destination.
Even though it was a nonsmoking room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

On the 2nd day of our stay our key cards would not work & had to rekey.

Hotel is adequate for business travel but for those with families, only given 2 towels for 2 adults and 1 child, no microwave or any amenities other than a bar of soap. The television only had 1 volume and if someone talking, could not hear. Outside of office and walking around to elevator were fresh stain drops on walkway and toilet stopped up and had to go get a plunger as no maintenance on facilities after 5 pm and did not get in until after 9 am. Light in my face due to large crack in lower part of door hard to sleep with light in face. ...read more
