Mountain Inn & Suites Airport - Hendersonville

This hotel gets the important things right. Great beds, great showers. The all American staff made our stay wonderful. Simple lodging, done right. It's hard for me to admit, but it is definitely worth spending the extra $15-20 over the cheapest place. What is it about waffle makers and free pastry that makes travelers act like idiots? This is a great hotel for business travelers or those not planning to stay at the hotel the entire time. Very nice breakfast and spacious rooms. Pool and fitness center are at a different facility a short drive from the hotel.

It was in a good location, clean and very pleasant.

Our room had bed bugs in it. We notified the staff at the front desk. Before moving us, she wanted to see the bugs. She asked us to take pictures to prove to the manager that there were in fact bugs. Why do I need to do this? Just move me to a new room!

Pillows were very hard and went to exchange but they couldn't find any soft ones. Bed not that comfortable and mattress slides around just getting on. Electric socket light in bathroom was hanging off the wall. They forgot to clean our room one day when we were out the whole day (no sign on door). Staff was super friendly and helpful. A hotel that allows smoking in some rooms upstairs pollutes the whole upstairs want to be downstairs and away from smoking end of hotel. ...read more

Overall it is okay. Staff is great. Pillows are hard as rocks and very uncomfortable. Staff tried finding a soft one but didn't have one. Bed okay nothing special. Electric light switch in bathroom was hanging off the wall no screws to reattach. They forgot to clean my room one day while we were gone all day. Food for breakfast nothing special - ate down the hill at Bojangles instead. Overall it was disappointing. Trying to figure out how it is Hendersonville's highest rated hotel. ...read more
