This hotel is very nice and I was pleased to find that it was a true 4 star. Very nice, helpful staff.
Parking fees are outrageous but is pretty much the standard for downtown hotels in NOLA. A bit of a walk to the French Quarter so if that's your destination you may want to stay closer or accept the fact that you'll need a cab or good walking shoes.

Nice hotel right across the street from the convention center. Plenty of restaurants nearby but pretty far from the action of Bourbon Street (good or bad). I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was really nice EXCEPT the lady in lost and found. I thought i left my driver's license and she just blew me off! ugh... Rooms were very clean and beds were soo comfty! Love the hotel!

The staff was so nice. Beds were very comfortable. Great location for the convention center and not too far from most attractions.
I got the hotel by bidding on Priceline. Unfortunately, it was $35 extra a day because you have to valet park. That pretty much killed the money I saved by naming my price. :(

The Marriott Convention Center was a great place to stay in NOLA. Close to several great restaurants and the convention center. The rooms were nice and we felt very safe there. Everyone we met there was friendly and willing to help.

Location to convention center was perfect. The beds were great.
The parking is crazy. Even if you use the valet service, there is no way to pull off the road and it is jammed with cars. Valet is $38 bucks for the day.

The fact that we had 3 people with us did NOT make it to the hotel so they had us in a King room instead of two queens. They had NO rooms to move us to two queens so our 3rd person had to sleep on the floor. This was unacceptable. The hotel said it was Priceline's fault because that information does not come to them. The hotel said when you request a 2 queen bed room that it can not be guaranteed but is just a request. Well, when you have 3 people that need a bed to sleep on, it SHOULD be fulfilled. The pool was freezing they should heat it cause it gets no sun, we had children with us and there was nothing for them to do.
