Hotel Guest Reviews of the North Bay San Rafael

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It was an older building, but the room was very clean.
The bedspreads were so soiled, it was nauseating.

The motel advertises "continental breakfast." However, there are no tables for seating and the "walk-away breakfast" consists of bananas and granola bars that you pick up in the (very tiny) motel office. Parking was adequate at this motel. The motel was
very difficult to find, and locals did not know of it. The motel is next to the freeway, so it is not very quiet. The motel room was very cute and clean. ...read more

We did find an attractive clean. comfortable suite. As far as amenities go, it was lacking, no pool, no spa, no worthy continental breakfast.

I can't think of anything nice.

This establishment was listed at 2 stars under Priceline, yet I still expected more. My first impression driving up and then checking in at the lobby was, this is really a classic motel, kind of like the type in the movie "Psycho", and being we arrived at night, the place really gives a creepy feeling, and a very unsafe feeling, like you have to look behind your back every step. The lobby was very small, and you have to ring a bell to get the lady to show up from the back (again, just like the movies). Funny thing is that it was the same lady when we checked in, as the lady when I asked for more towels during midnight, and the same lady in the morning - does she not go home?? So, she gave me a single full size bed room (I came with a wife and 3 little kids). ...read more

Very nice Furnishings.
It is in a boarder line industrial zone.

Pleasant exterior and furnishings. Rooms a little small.

Clean, convenient, microwave and fridge, free Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, very affordable.
Very close to the highway. Room wasn't ready until 2 hours past check-in.

Really happy with this hotel. Preferred this hotel over a four-star Marriott that we stayed in another night. Came with more amenities (free). Room was clean and very convenient place to stay for exploring Marin county and San Fran area. Best 2-star hotel I've ever stayed in and for the price you just can't beat it.
