Hotel Guest Reviews of the Novotel Edinburgh Centre
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Mark from Seattle, WA

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Very clean and relatively modern. A block from the bus for travel to other areas. Easy walk to Old Town, New Town and Waverly Train Station.
A bit noisy at night because of the College of Art being across the street, but likely much quieter than High Street and surrounds.
Positives: Very clean hotel, modern accoutrements, and helpful, pleasant staff. Our room was adequate; a standard bed for two people. Location was easy walking distance to Old Town, New Town and most of the museums. Bus stop one block away for travel to Leith, for example. We didn't use the leisure services (swimming pool, restaurant, etc.) Probably much quieter here than near High Street, although College of Art students were a bit loud. ...

Location close to Grassmarket
Nothing in our hotel room was maintained - everything in the bathroom was falling apart. Awful bed.
Stay here if you just need a bed for the night and don't care how good your sleep is.

Clean and lots of amenities packed into very compact space.
Ridiculous that I had to pay 8 quid for 24 hours of WiFi!

.
We were given a wheelchair accessible room but we are able bodies - the shower was a joke, could only bathe without getting water everywhere.
