Collins Hotel

If it weren't for the front desk staff/management I would give this hotel a VERY high rating. The rooms are clean. No carpet, only tile. Walls are clean white, very few decorations. It has a contemporary/Ikea look. The front desk lady approached my in Spanish assuming I spoke it. She spoke little if any English. Not good for business. The housekeeping staff is not available until after 8:30am (for you early risers). Make sure your room has sufficient towels before going to bed, or you will have to get them yourself. The hotel was very dirty and had an odor. We asked to have our money back so we could move locations, and the manager refused to even speak with us. We also asked for them to at least change the sheets or the curtains and they stated that they couldn't. Therefore, not only disappointed in the hotel but also the lack of effort on their part to even attempt to make it right.
