The location seemed to be a great "mid-point" for different activities and restaurants.
The room very much depends on who owns the unit. Our unit was very basic, and hand't been updated since being built. Other guests indicated that their unit was updated and just overall much nicer.

This was a large one-bedroom suite and was suitable for my family stay.
The grounds were really dirty, full of trash, and smelled bad. It was really disappointing.
While we enjoyed our room, the grounds were filthy and we would not stay here again. Also, the grill (restaurant) was really a bar and not welcoming to families at all. There is a large bar that takes up most of the space and when we were there (to order food to bring back to our room) it was filled with people drinking.

We rented a 2 bdrm 2 bath unit. Nice size unit. Some dishes were dirty and put in the cupboard!? Hair dryer didnt work in master bdrm. Toilets slow to flush too. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was great!

Terrible property map and directions! Checked in at night with very poor lighting. Headboard squeaked in room 4404. Poor paint job.
Most Florida Keys hotels have cheap tile floors and this was no exception. Cheap shades, soap, towels too.

beds were not made during the entire day, fresh daily linens were not provided. it was not like any hotel we ever stayed at. it was a condo and it was not made clear that it was not a hotel with any kind of services.
if you want a hotel, do not stay here. it is not worth the money for just a place to stay.

We paid for a corner room with a balcony it was not a corner and the balcony was a step out very tiny not what the description said it would be the sofa bed was horrible

comfy beds, nice shower, nice kitchenette w/ washer & dryer in suite. Feral cats were fun to watch. I would recommend this place, very nice, homey, cozy.
Need a better layout map to give new guests. "Ocean View" was lovely but in between the balcony and the ocean was a field of brush and muddy tire tracks. Not all that pretty for the upgrade. Balcony is TINY.
Nice hotel about 30 minutes from John Pennekamp State Park. Clean and inviting.

Grounds are very nice. Staff is friendly. Good enough if you get a great price on the unit and are lucky enough to get a unit in good condition. I expected nicer updated furnishings since I stayed at this resort two previous times and based on photos. Last stay was 4 years ago.
