Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ojai Rancho Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff are friendly, laid-back, chill-laxing Ojai style. We loved this old motel converted to a very nice, rustic cabin with wood walls, slate floors, and Native American decor. Huge king bed made of logs (VERY cool!). The mattress was excellent! COZY!
No closet or dresser, but lots of shelving. Use your duffle bag along with 6 hangers on a rack. No breakfast but very close to restaurants and stores. Coffee/tea at office in AM. Pool looked great, but it rained on the day we might have used it. Worth it!

My daughter and I took a road trip to celebrate the completion of her internship. I chose this motel style inn because it was affordable, convenient, and the other reviews complimented the staff. No disappointments there! This place is dog friendly with a big back yard for tossing the ball around. The travel kennel fit under the shelving in the sitting area. This is a place to stay if you are not looking for the pampered spa hotel. We enjoyed the ambiance, the mountain views, and cactus landscaping. Little front porch for each room has a table and to chairs. Very close to the road so watch you little ones and pets. The room has a great big flat screen TV with showtime, etc., and internet!. Fridge and microwave, an ice bucket, and two mason jars for drinking. There are nice shops and restaurants within walking distance a half mile down the road. The Episcopal church is a few doors down and has a nice labyrinth. I would definitely stay at the Ojai Rancho Inn again. It was just what I needed to spent some quality time with my wonderful daughter. ...read more

The hotel was FANTASTIC! Room was super clean, quiet, comfortable & the jacuzzi was amazing! Like a spa! Loved the wood furniture! Staff was helpful & professional! Hotel is blocks away from the healing centers, shops & restaurants! Thank You So Much!

Clean, quiet, comfortable, relaxing, and conveniently located. Fantastic value for the price! Jacuzzi was terrific!

Room was spare but nicely refurbished, convenient location and very clean. Liked the retroness of it. Lover the incense at the front office and tea every morning.
My heater was broken so the first night was really cold. I asked that it be fixed but this never happened so I froze again the second night. The office closes at night so I was completely out of luck. Lame. Street is noisy from cars driving by.

So unassuming, but the interior of the rooms were absolutely beautiful. Rooms were rustic styled and well lit with beautiful Edison bulbs. Highly recommend getting the room with the spa. Great outdoor sitting area to enjoy your morning coffee!

Great design details! The rooms feature lots of Made-in-the-USA goods from LA designers, which is a neat contrast to the old-school-motel look of the exterior. The place attracts a cool community of people - it feels like there's a really good social atmo
It's an older place, so the walls are pretty thin!

The new owners are creating a cool community around this hotel. The rooms feature lots of hand-crafted and Made-in-the-USA goods from Southern California designers, which is a neat contrast to the old-school-motel look of the exterior. The walls are a bit thin, it's an old place! But the proprietors seem genuinely interested in making sure you have a good Ojai experience.

Under new ownership, our room had just been renovated and was beautiful. A few little kinks (an outside water leak caused us no water; it took less than an hour to fix). The room was warm, cozy, and very, private. We had the garden cottage and sat outside
Could use a larger shower curtain and a night light would be helpful in the bathroom. Breakfast should be more than tea and coffee....

The new owners run hotels in Santa Barbara and have a sense of earthy grace in this establishment. It's warm, cozy, private and very comfortable. will gladly stay here again.

Hot tub in the room. King size bed.
Freezing cold, bad service, room not clean.

It's a cute space, but the details aren't there at all. We froze at night, the coffee they offered in the morning was cold and bad and the bikes they advertised weren't available.
