Hotel Guest Reviews of the Olde Town Inn New Orleans

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Fantastic, knowledgeable staff who added great info to the itineraries we had pre-planned, suggested good (and safe!) walking routes and were always friendly and genuinely interested in how we were doing
our bathroom was a little run down, tiny and didn't have a door that closed properly for adequate privacy

Olde Town Inn's location in the Marigny is just outside of French Quarter but very close to Frenchmen Street nightlife (about 3 blocks/10 mins away through safe, well-lit streets). Walgreens is about 2 blocks away, as is the great Gene's Po-Boy (go to the Bistro next door/connected to Gene's for seafood po-boy)

This location is very convenient to the French Quarter, only about 7 blocks away! The room was simple but was all we needed. Free continental breakfast each morning. We lost our room keys and the front desk gave us a new set for free with no hassle.
The rooms were older and a a little dirty, but I'm not picky. This place was a great deal for the price.

Felt very safe in this neighborhood (during Mardi Gras). There was an extra locked gate to get in before the rooms, so that was nice. A simple and older hotel but if you are looking for a cheap place close to the French Quarter this is great pick!

Great friendly staff. Good breakfast items
Just a space heater in the room and we were freezing all night. Need something to accommadate the cold a little better.

Great staff and cool history of the place. Didn't expect much so somewhat met my expectations. The biggest problem was the cold room.

Hotel is located in Marigny very close to St.Cloud which is the dividing line for Bywater which quite frankly DANGEROUS. If you stay in Marigny and use your head you should have NO problems.French quarter is a fifteen minute walk.Or a eight dollar cab rid
Rooms are small,but cozy.

The hotel has a eccletic ambiance that is very new Orleans. The common area for breakfast is really funky and nice. My wife loved this hotel.Staff was super friendly and helpful although i felt they were over confidant of the security of some of the adjacent areas.NOL is a wonderful place but like cities everywhere you must be careful. For the price and staff i would definately stay here again. ...read more

I like your customer service representatives. They trained very well. Also, the atmosphere in your hotel is warm and friendly.
I have nothing to say in this regard.

I think that this business represents an excellent example of medium business enterprises in your state and in your town. Also, I have to mention that your employees are trained very well, I loved the small talks with them and their kind smiles and their attitude towards guests and their readiness to help customers. Of course, as a cat lover, I have to say to the owners - BIG thank you for your CAT #1 (orange + white), he met me at the lobby and looked at me as my old friend. Other cats whom I saw at our area of breakfast were also nice. THANKS A LOT for your services. HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY! ...read more

It was great. Great price, great location, and great staff.
Nothing. I will be staying there again.

If you stay at this hotel, walk over to Frenchmen and have a good time. There's no need to walk to the Quarter, which isn't much farther away.

The courtyard and atmosphere.
No.

Enjoyed this quaint hotel. The location was a good walk to the French Quarter but well worth the price. Street parking was abundant and free. Rooms were small and well maintained. All in all, it will be worth staying at again.

Cheap, friendly, and close to the French quarter - just what
I needed.

Sweet little hotel with friendly staff. Helped us in any way we asked and couldn't have asked for a better time.
